The outer skin is divided into:
1.basal layer
2.spinous layer
3.granular layer
4.transparent layer
5.stratum corne layer
The main component of the epidermis is keratinocyte (keratinocyte). The cell life cycle is about 28 days. It takes about 14 days from basal layer cells to become granular layer cells, and about 14 days from granular layer cells to stratum corneum. The stratum corneum cells gradually change from the basal layer upward, and finally the dead cells become the stratum corneum. This process is called keratinization.
The skin we touch is the stratum corneum. 28 days is the outermost aging cell in a cycle. It is easy to hide dirt and dirt after a long time, so we need to exfoliate. For some people with sensitive skin, do it once a week or two weeks. Do an exfoliation, it varies from person to person. After exfoliation, the skin will be crystal clear and the beauty products will be well absorbed but fragile. Be careful.
Exfoliation involves removing the oldest dead skin cells from the skin's surface. The word comes from the Latin exfoliare. Exfoliation involves all faces and can be achieved by mechanical or chemical means, such as microdermabrasion or chemical peels. Exfoliators are often advertised as a treatment to promote beauty, youthful appearance or health. Wikipedia (English)
